We had RAY'S provide our weekly office afternoon tea today and it was sensational. Marz was super easy to work with, prompt with her responses and put together a delicious menu for us. I tried some of the Grazing platter + Ciambella cake and it was beyond delectable. Thank you so much Ray's, I've been told it's the best Afternoon Tea we've had to date. Can't wait to work with you again!!

Ray’s does some solid sandwiches in an area stacked with delis and salad bars, and the quality was up to par. Tried two sandwiches: • Rueben – Pretty stock standard, nothing fancy but done right. The pastrami could’ve been a bit juicier and more flavourful, but the cheese stood out with a strong punch. Bread was toasted, felt a bit “healthier” than the usual buttery Rueben style. Overall, decent. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ $17 • Italian (special) – Served on a panini bun, loaded with fresh antipasto and proper ingredients. Flavours were solid, but the bun was too thick and threw off the bread-to-meat balance. Looked better in photos than in bites. ⭐⭐⭐ $18.5 One note: while waiting I overheard staff joking “thank god no one’s making changes to sandwiches today.” Not a big deal, but maybe keep that chat out of earshot of customers. Not sure I’d rush back, but definitely worth a try if you’re around.

Really good toaster sandwich! i got the tuna one, it had tuna, cheese, pickles, capers and some sauce! it was so tasty. my friend got another one and it was so huge she had to deconstruct it to eat it so i was pretty happy with my choice. i got the house soda too, it was raspberry and lemon soda, also delicious. the only flaw with this place is it took a while for the sandwiches to be made compared to the quick turnaround for the drinks! but a good sandwich is worth the wait

Great business concept with delicious sandwiches complemented by great coffee! Everyone was great, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely returning!

Was visiting Melbourne for the week and heard there are some great sandwich spots around so did some research. Out of the 10 or so recommendations, landed on Rays and so happy we did because their sandwiches were epic. The staff are awesome too. Softest freshest bread, loaded with filling and coffee is on point too. Would gladly return if we’re ever in Melbourne again.
